Eisenberg's Rose Richmon dead at 96 (Lake County News-Sun)
The last of the merchant class that made Waukegan the commercial hub of Lake County for more than a century has died. Rose Eisenberg Richmon proudly carried on Waukegan's oldest family-owned business, one that flourished in the early 1900s by selling on credit to immigrants. Richmon, who was 96, owned and operated Eisenberg's Women's Fashions on Glen Flora Avenue.
